Characters

In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, every character has a weight class. Each character's weight affects their driving stats, such as speed, acceleration, and handling. On the right is a graph of all of the characters' stats. Due to their fast speed, yet decent acceleration, the best characters are in the cruiser class. In particular, Waluigi is picked the most because of his small hitbox and meme status. However, you can still win with any character.
