- Super Bell Subway is a really balanced track, so there are numerous situations where you can pick it.
- Power items can be used on the rocky sections in the underground and on the final stretch to zoom ahead.
- Lightning is really good when chaining into the second set due to slowing down everyone on the tight turns.
- Bob-ombs are very useful when placed by a train. Also, they can be dropped at the entrance to the underground and the final turn.
