Grumble Volcano is a balanced track due to having little shortcuts but also useful items.
Power items to chain into the third set to do the final shortcuts. However, Lightning can also be used well when chaining into the second set in team formats.
Bob-ombs are very useful when placed by the first S turn, the cave split paths, and the ramps towards the final turn.
