Shortcuts

On Turn 1, you can use a mushroom through the bookcases. This shortcut is crucial when getting to the front early.
On the final turn, by hopping after a mini turbo, you can cut across the entire grass section with one mushroom.

Strategies

Power items are very useful on the final turn(or before the glider ramp for lightning).
When starting Twisted Mansion, getting a mushroom for the first shortcut is essential for frontrunning.
Bombs are also useful when trapping the start of the first shortcut or the top path after the glider.
