Just like Dry Dry Desert, this track has a ton of offroad shortcuts. In particular, you can go faster by using a mushroom to skip Turns 1, 3, 5, and 7.
If you're using a lightweight, you can start charging up a ultra mini turbo at the second ramp before the finish line and then trick off a cheese hole to skip Turn 1.
After the first glider, you can use mushrooms to boost to the next two glider ramps.
Strategies
This track is almost, if not better, at bagging than Dry Dry Desert.
Power items are super useful on the opening and final shortcuts. In particular, using a Bullet Bill at the first set takes you all the way to the glider.
Bob-ombs are very useful when placed by the second and third sets.
